Hear from special guests, Mark and Rachel Macholl as they share about their youngest son Mickey, his battle with cancer, and what they discovered along the way in regards to their parental rights around their child’s medical treatments.
The book they wrote, “Mickey’s Fight: A Family’s Battle to Save their Son from Cancer” takes you through Mickey’s journey of up’s and downs, highs and lows, and really brought you into the Macholl’s life during their son’s fight with his illness.
The book also shined a light on issues some may never know existed around parental rights within hospitals, and what parents are able to do and not to do, legally.
Mark and Rachel are passionate about raising awareness for other parents and caregivers who may find themselves in similar situations with their children and their health. They also are bringing awareness to Integrated Medicine and Holistic alternatives, which proved to dramatically help Mickey along his journey.
I commend this couple for letting us get to know Mickey and their family, and sharing their journey with us.
